A Community Contributor
As a locally owned and operated company, Newco takes great pride in its participation in the provincial economy. We employ 20 workers year-round, and during peak periods our payroll swells to approximately 50 local employees.
As anyone can imagine, it requires a lot of transportation support to move tons of scrap metal and crushed cars around the province. As a result, Newco built an excellent working relationship with many local trucking companies including: Clarke Transport, Hunt's Transport, Layden's Transport, MC Transport, and Phoenix Transport.
Ultimately, our biggest contribution to our province comes from the service we provide: safe and responsible recycling of scrap metal and autos. Through the removal of these waste materials, the total lifespan added to the landfills of our province is likely hundreds of years.
As proud Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, we're strong believers that our land is our greatest resource, and we think that's something everyone can appreciate.
